Motorola GP328 Battery Options
The Motorola GP328 has two basic battery options, NiMH (model HNN9008) and Lithium (model HNN9013). As of 2010, there’s also an IMPRES-compatible battery (model HNN4003). By default, Radiotronics supplied the Lithium (model HNN9013) battery with your GP328. If you would prefer the NiMH, this is available at no extra cost. The IMPRES-compatible battery (model HNN4003) is available at time of purchase for a small additional fee.

Motorola GP328 Charger Options
Motorola GP328 has two charger options. The first option is a single unit IMPRES-compatible charger (model PMLN5199). The second option is a 6-way multi-charger. Unfortunately the classic “slanted” models are now cancelled. But there’s a new IMPRES version 2 model (order code PMPN4301).
Note: IMPRES chargers can also charge non-IMPRES batteries. Always choose IMPRES chargers to be sure as it covers all bases.
Discount available: Radiotronics offers significant discounts when a charger is purchased at the same time as the radio. So be sure to add both the radio and charger to the cart and checkout together.

Programming
The Motorola GP328 is supplied un-programmed as standard. It’s kind of like a computer without an operating system. It just wouldn’t work. But don’t worry… we have the following GP328 programming options:
- To match your ACMA licence as a new fleet: If you’ve bought an ACMA licence recently and don’t have any radios, we can program your new fleet to the frequency the ACMA has assigned you.
- To match your existing radios: Assuming you have an ACMA licence for your existing radios, we can program your new GP328 to match your existing analogue radios.
- Completely Customized Programming: This option covers everything else. Why not call us to discuss your programming requirements.
- Do you want to program yourself? Sure you can. But only if you have an ACMA licence. We sell a programming cable to enable you to program your GP328 yourself. What’s more, we can even help you program the radio over remote desktop.
TIP: Whatever you prefer, when you’ve purchased a radio from Radiotronics, programming is always FREE – for life!
UHF CB Not Available On This Radio: The Motorola GP328 cannot be programmed to UHF CB channels as it’s not type approved and does not have a display.
Do you need an ACMA licence? Contact us for further information and advice on ACMA licensing.
