Description
Motorola RMN5070 (also known as Motorola RMN5070A) is a desktop base station microphone compatible with APX2500, APX6500, APX7500 & APX8500 mobile / desktop two-way radios.
Motorola RMN5050 Features
The Motorola RMN5070 is an essential microphone when using your mobile APX radio as a base station two-way radio. RMN5070 plugs right into the front of the radio in place of the usually-supplied hand microphone. But the desk microphone allows convenient placement for quick and easy push to talk.
The Motorola RMN5070A is a microphone gain control screw in the back of the microphone that allows you to set the right microphone level for your environment. Having the screw in the back of the microphone ensures that the mic gain on the RMN5070A is never adjusted by mistake.
This microphone plugs into the radio using the socket at the front of the radio with a multipin push and twist plug type meaning the plug is unlikely to be able to fall out or fail. In addition there’s an optional extra extension cord (special order only) and an extension speaker. This enables your base station radio to be located in a more discreet location, for example under the desk.
To compliment this microphone and to create a base station radio out of your DM3 or DM4 series two-way radio, Motorola Solutions also offers a APN6153 power supply and HLN6042 desktop stand that together allow you to create a complete base station two-way radio.
Compatible Radios
Suitable for APX radios only.
Note: Not for MOTOTRBO radios. Whilst this looks like it would work with Motorola MOTOTRBO radios, it will not. MOTOTRBO radios require Motorola RMN5050.
