Kenwood TK-3710 meets international igres standards IP54, IP55, and IP67. IP67 allows the ProTalk TK-3710 can be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes at 1m, meaning it#ll do well in wet an rainy environments. In fact, the radio also meets or exceeds 11 MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F/G environmental standards, including “blowing rain”, meaning you can rest assured that this is an all-weather performance tough two-way radio.
TK-3710X packs an amzingly powered 1-watt of audio power from it’s own internal speaker. And 500 mW of audio for an external remote speaker microphone or earpiece. This great two-way radio has a user-intuitive ergonomic design with volume and channel knobs on the top, multiple programmable keys (7 on the front, 2 on the side) and a large textured push to talk button with a very pronounced click to make it obvious when the PTT is engaged – even when waring gloves. Finally, the 8-character alphanumeric aliases makes life simple, while the selective 7-colour LED indicator gives a visual indication of radio status (customisable via programming software).
