Charger Options

The Motorola MTP8550Ex radio is not supplied with a charger. This is because, like almost all enterprise grade two-way radios, the user might want a multi-bay charger and the single charger would become redundant, and so why pay for it? Below, we go thought the single charger and 6-way charger options.

Single Charger

The correct single charger for thie radio is the Motorola WPLN4256. If you buy this at the same time as the radio, you will recieve a discount. But you must add it to the cart with your radio. Retrospective discounts are not possible.

Multi-Unit Charger

The six-position charger is the Motorola PMPN4293 (PMPN4293 replaces old models WPLN4215 and WPLN4222). If you buy this at the same time as the two-way radio, you will recieve a 10% discount in the shopping cart.

Earpiece & Headset Options

The Motorola MTP8550Ex is an ATEX radio and it’s important to note that, whilst some DP-series non-ATEX accessories will mechanically fit, if you ever connect a non-ATEX accessory to an ATEX radio it renders the radio non-ATEX.
